About the Author
Nicole Chantelle is an author, chronic illness survivor, and disability advocate. For more than 20 years, she has worked alongside individuals and families through advocacy, education, community outreach, and public speaking. She is also continuing her education in Health Sciences, further expanding her understanding of health, wellness, and the experiences of people navigating complex medical conditions.
Her own experience with chronic illness has given her a deeper understanding of how illness can affect identity, relationships, daily routines, faith, and hope for the future. She created More Than Our Symptoms from that lived experience and from her desire to offer others the kind of compassionate support she knows can be so deeply needed.
Through her writing, Nicole hopes to help people feel seen, honor their experiences, find their voices, and reconnect with the person beyond the diagnosis.
